Traffic Alert: Downed trees blocking portion of Hana Highway on Maui

MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) – Downed trees are blocking the road on Maui’s Hana Highway Wednesday morning, the state Department of Transportation said.
It’s at mile marker 7 near the Nailiilihaele Stream.
At last check, DOT said one lane has been cleared and crews are continuing to clear the rest of the roadway.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes and expect delays.
